My archetype is the “Beloved”, or “Where passion meets trust.”my-archetype-beloved-branding

Beloveds quickly attract new relationships and keep them with stability. Beloveds are like a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies: dependable, nurturing, dedicated, and completely authentic. We are uncomfortable with tension or stress.

  • My primary trigger is Passion. Beloveds create strong and immediate emotional connections and inspire people to want to be involved.
  • My secondary trigger is Trust. Beloveds earn loyalty through dependability and radiate a sincere, familiar warmth. This brings stability and calm to situations. We speak the language of stability.
  • My dormant trigger is Alarm. It says dormant alarm means I am an optimistic and “big picture” thinker, and eager to start new projects. As a result, I am less likely to earn attention by focusing on negative consequences. ALARM personalities pay attention to deadlines and details to avoid potential problems. By focusing more on the bigger picture, we tend to be less concerned with the nuts and bolts about how to get something done and the milestones involved. We prefer to lock in on a goal and use your instincts to move forward, not fearing missteps.

“Beloveds” have a gift of making others feel comfortable; are hard-wired to keep things safe, and are uncomfortable with tension.

We gradually build strong connections among teams. We are nurturing and tenderhearted. Loyal friends, people turn to us for comfort and guidance. We are sensitive to the feelings of others, and compassionate to emotional nuances within a situation. Our personal dedication, combined with our strong work ethic, instills commitment in those around you. Others quickly sense our sincere desire to see them succeed.

Personally, I used this information (and the work I did in M Shannon Hernandez’s Branding Bootcamp and the work I did with my coach, Anastacia Brice) when I was re-branding my business from Accomplish VA to Amy Kazor VA. I formulated my brand words which are:

  1. Nurturing
  2. Safe
  3. Loyal
  4. Real
  5. Dependable
  6. Seasoned
  7. Compassionate
  8. Structured
  9. Life-Long Learner
  10. Trustworthy

Nurturing and Loyal (above) along with Sincere, Comforting, and Tenderhearted were my top 5 competitive advantages.

These 10 brand words are the words I *try* to infuse into each post and page on my site and in the content I share out with the world. It is not a fine tuned machine yet, but I am getting there.

I found that the other 8 words on this list resonated more with me and my work than Sincere, Comforting, and Tenderhearted did, but I think that my other words (Compassionate, Safe, Real, Trustworthy) reflected those “competitive advantages” while speaking more to the world about the real Amy. I felt that the whole point was to make it my own.   I am grateful for this work and to have learned more about how I show up in the world. It is always interesting to me to learn more.

My twin is “The Authentic”. I would love to meet one and dish on this stuff. Who’s an “Authentic” out there?

What is your archetype?
