PlanningFriday began with a wonderful first call… twenty of us gathered in faith to carve out time to plan our year simultaneously. While we each had a different agenda and focus for our planning day, we joined one another to set our intensions for two 3 hour segments of time… then went off and worked our plans.

As host of the virtual planning event I was careful to set aside an appropriate amount of work for the sessions. This year, my decision to set only three intentions helped me with my more limited schedule. It worked well with my desire to build more reserves into my life: time, energy, money, health… etc. This smaller focus allows more time to actually get things done. Completeness one of the themes for 2015. Wrapping up loose ends and focusing on comfortably achievable outcomes. I am ever grateful for the day.

Here are some of the comments from the participants:

“One thing that I’ve already gotten out of this experience is that I am reading my Bible every day. 10 years ago I purchased a Catholic Women’s Devotional Bible for the Alpha program but after it was completed I didn’t pick it up very often. Now I scheduled time on my calendar for a daily devotion. My Bible has devotional readings for every day of the year and on the weekend the readings focus on a woman in the Scripture. I am really enjoying learning more about my faith and coming to live it as I focus on my life intentions and planning!”

“I took away so much today just hearing how others schedule things.”

“I need to keep things in front of myself: Finding a way to do things visually is an intention of mine.”

“I chose a personal verse and a business verse for the year, I feel drawn to different areas in each space.”

“This was an awesome day!”

“What a wonderful experience today! I am so full *and* so expectant of 2015! Thank you Amy!!! This has been extremely helpful, needed and appreciated!”

Thank you to all who are participating, I hope that this impacts your 2015 in a wonderfully positive way. I am blessed to be sharing the space with you!
