Why Dearborn, Michigan?

I bid for Homecoming 2015 to be in Dearborn, Michigan largely because of The Henry Ford. 

This national historic landmark has five unique venues housing unparalleled collections and world-class expertise.

An internationally recognized destination, The Henry Ford is a cultural destination where people connect with America’s history.

Stories and artifacts of over 300 years of our US history bring to life the accomplishments of ordinary and extraordinary individuals.

“Awaken the dreamer, maker, and doer in YOU.”

So much awaits the AssistU VAs! Saturday afternoon’s experience is one we will remember for a lifetime. It’s in a place where we can “gain perspective, get inspired, and make your own history.”

When they get a taste of what is in store for them in Dearborn, they will be blown away.
