Happy to be home again in my own office, and not working from airports and hotel rooms. Sounds funny for a girl who loves to travel, but there is something to be said about being in my own office with all of my tools at my fingertips.Office Furniture

I have shared about my office so many times here that it may seem crazy, but it is a vital part of what I do. As I have been traveling the past few months, I have come to the realization that I love my office chair more than any other piece of furniture.

I appreciate the cool mesh, the lumbar support, the reclinability, and the headrest. I realize, sitting elsewhere, that I tire less quickly, move around more (I also have a standing desk), and make fewer mistakes in my own office and using my beloved office chair.

As I continue with my office furniture make-over (I am chalk-painting my desk and other wood furniture – shabby chic and beachy style) I will not be changing my chair. Regardless of how gorgeous some other type of chair would be in my office once the furniture is completed, the benefits of a high-quality, supportive, and comfortable office chair far outweigh any concern over what it looks like in the room. Form and function over beauty, but that is a trade I am willing to make.

What piece of office furniture can you not live without? I would love to hear about it!
